At the beginning of April 2026, we officially concluded the two-year project Towards Networks for Dialogue: Multiperspective Strategies on Combatting Antisemitism at Local Levels. Launched in April 2024, the initiative was implemented by an international consortium consisting of Forum for Dialogue (Poland, project lead), House of the Wannsee Conference – Memorial and Educational Site (Germany), and Ecorys Polska (Poland).

The project’s main objective was to develop effective strategies for combatting antisemitism, xenophobia, and prejudice through direct collaboration with local communities in Poland and Germany. What were we able to achieve?

• Expansion of the Forum for Dialogue Network in Poland: In line with our objectives, Forum for Dialogue network has significantly strengthened their network, both in terms of its size and quality. The number of members working daily to preserve Jewish memory and heritage in Poland has grown to 250. Moreover, the Forum for Dialogue network has established an effective structure of regional groups and organized a series of valuable workshops, seminars, and conferences.
• Polish German exchange and a new network in Berlin and Brandenburg: We have established and integrated a dynamic group of local educators in Berlin and Brandenburg on combating and tackling antisemitism in historical-political education. Thanks to bilateral study visits, our institutions and educators involved in the project have gained a unique platform for exchanging experiences and learning from each other.
• Professional evaluation: The Ecorys Polska team conducted comprehensive monitoring and an impact assessment of our activities. Based on the findings, the team developed expert recommendations that will help us manage the Forum for Dialogue Network even more effectively, as well as build and strengthen lasting relationships with local and international communities.

Although the project has officially come to an end, the tools developed, the revised educational approaches, and—above all—the relationships built and the growing Network of members will continue to foster dialogue and combat prejudice in Poland and Germany for years to come.
