Liebe Mutti! - Postcards from Terezín (1943–1944) with artworks by Inbar Chotzen

The exhibition Liebe Mutti! presents an extraordinary artistic project by Israeli artist Inbar Chotzen, inspired by a set of 369 postcards that her relatives sent from the Terezín ghetto in 1943–1944.

In her work, Inbar Chotzen combines archival materials with artistic interventions and brings back memories of the family's life before the Nazi persecution. The exhibition curated by Dr Ruth Preusse (House of the Wannsee Conference Memorial and Educational Site) sensitively opens up the themes of memory, family history, loss and survival and creates a strong dialogue between the past and the present.
