Artist Talk with Inbar Chotzen

The artistic work of Inbar Chotzen shows how art preserves memory. In this conversation, the artist describes her very personal approach to themes, people and stories. She provides insights into her artistic practice and the development of her project ‘Liebe Mutti!’ (Dear Mum!), showing how an initial idea could be transformed into powerful works of art. In our dialogue, she talks about her approach to family heritage through postcards and historical photographs. 

Ruth Preusse (House of the Wannsee Conference) and Viktoria Krieger (Liebermann Villa on Lake Wannsee) also discuss the background and the path that led to the special exhbition ‘Liebe Mutti!’ (Dear Mum!), a collaborative project of the Liebermann Villa and the House of the Wannsee Conference.
